Longwell Partners is a full-service, pro-democracy communications firm based in Washington, DC. We specialize in high-profile political advocacy campaigns—including The Bulwark, and Home of the Brave—and we’re looking for an energetic intern to support our efforts as we prepare for the 2026 election cycle.
If you live and breathe political news, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have sharp political instincts, and want to help shape impactful messaging and strategy, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities:

- Editing testimonial videos to create short, punchy, compelling content for social media and ads

- Building media lists of reporters to reach out to to promote our campaigns
- Reaching out to reporters and managing inbound media requests
- Updating our projects’ websites with new content and identifying opportunities for promotion
What We’re Looking For:
- Commitment to supporting and protecting democracy in its hour of maximum danger
- Not being satisfied doing the same thing every day…we promise that’s not how we work around here!
- Interest in and knowledge of current trends in politics and media, especially the 2026 election
- Ability to work in-person in downtown Washington, D.C.
- Ability to learn fast, follow instructions, and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- A self-starter mindset and eagerness to volunteer and take the lead on projects
